We went here after my brothers funeral as a last minute decision. There were 20 of us and they accommodated us no problem. The one waitress made sure we all had filled drinks at all times, took us asking for things every time we saw her with no problem, and did it all with fast friendly service. I didn’t get her name but she very patient with all of us. We ordered 4 different appetizers and 4 different kinds of pizza and they were all very good. Even the owner came out and helped pass out drinks and was just as nice. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone all day everyday.

Awesome new place! Pizza was great, Wings were great, fries were great… Bosco Sticks are from another planet that only serves amazing food. I’m traveling through for work but if I’m ever back in the area I will absolutely come back. Ashley is amazing as well. TRY IT!

Tried this place on a whim, everything was amazing! Worth going to even if it’s just for the Bosco Sticks, but the wings and burgers are also 🔥. Ashley was one of the best bartenders / waitresses I’ve ever had! This place is a must try.

Great new place! Lots of screens and good beer selection for all of your sports watching! The traditional wings are lightly breaded and properly cooked. Do not skip the mozzarella stick appetizer as they are incredible. I am looking forward to coming back to take pictures of all the sports related art work for my next post.

This was our first visit to Benchwarmers and OMG!! Our appetizer was their fried green tomatoes and mozzarella sticks both was large portions and SO GOOD! We was very impressed that their mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes was homemade so that made them that much better! I never had a burger with an egg so I decided to try their grand slam burger and it was amazing! My husband had their Stromboli and that was delicious (I had to have a bite because it looked so good lol) We had so much left we are able to have another meal later if we still aren’t to full. We will definitely be back!!

I was on the fence because of the negative reviews but the wife and I gave it a shot anyway. Glad we did ! Food and service was great. Had mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes. Both are homemade and really good. The portions a large. We also ordered the Grandslam Burger and a Stromboli. Those both very good and more the enough to fill your tummy. Looking forward to going back and trying some other options.

We had a really great waitress and the food was terrific! A little pricey for some things but COVID has drawn up the price of ingredients so understandable. The quality of everything was great and when you ask for extra toppings they actually give you extra. We will definitley be back again! We had pizza , fried pickles , spinach dip, fried shrimp, and pizza.

I’ve been here a few times and their staff is great and the place is super clean. Also they have the best grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks ever. Highly recommend everyone try them out. Best grilled cheese I ever had hands down.

Benchwarmers has plenty of great food to choose from. From fried vegetables to pizza and wings, the food was incredible! They do have gluten free pizza for people who eat gluten free but otherwise mostly everything else is breaded.

Just went for the first time today after receiving the recommendation from my grandparents, who are regulars there now since they’ve been almost every weekend…lol

Anyways, my friend Josh and I really enjoyed this place. The food was very filling and almost everything tasted great! I like what they did with the old CiCi’s venue. Completely overhauling the setup, repainting the interior and modernizing it to the point where it’s almost unrecognizable from it’s former property. I really enjoyed my jalapeño cheese burger and I dig the choice of being able to select either a brioche or pretzel bun for your bread.

The two nitpicks I do have are:
1. While the Fully Loaded Fries my friend and I split as an appetizer were still really delicious, albeit if it weren’t for the fact that I couldn’t help but notice that the chili on said fries had to have been store bought Hormel canned chili. Like I said, I still loved the fries, but I was expecting a house made chili.

2. The real only downside to our meals were the sides that came with our burgers. Since we had the fires for an app, we didn’t want to double down, so I got the Mac n cheese and Josh settled on green beans. My Mac was pretty underdone, the noodles were really gummy and stiff, not even al dente, and the cheese was weirdly sweet and bland. Josh said his green beans were just wet with no real seasoning or anything satisfactory about it.

Other than those complaints, however, I cannot wait to return next time for lunch and try something else on the menu

The soft pretzel and cheese sticks are amazing! If you’re craving fair food, this is the place to go. So good!

Great customer service

At lunch there this afternoon and it was phenomenal. Husband ordered the wings I got the Fried Green Tomato BLT and my 20 month old got the mini corn dogs.

Everything was fantastic. From the food, to the service, and what you’ve done with the place.

Despite being given glaring looks from a 4 top of an older generation who objected with dirty looks when my kid made noise by dropping her cup and the man who after my husband said I’m sorry told him to remove our kid and backed down when asked to repeat himself

We will be back because of the above mentioned in regards to the food, atmosphere, the service and the kindness the Cashier showed when she stated that I did fine with my kid and that she was actually good.

If you don’t like kids in family restaurants you shouldn’t go into family restaurants. Other options would stink because Benchwarmers is that awesome but if you are older than Gen X and you want quiet and no children around might I suggest Bonner Senior Center for lunch?

Our server was very polite and made accommodations since my fiancé and I had to be kind of ready to walk out the door at any minute being on call for his job. This is a nice, friendly local place! I feel comfortable here and the food is good! The onion rings are amazing! I order the Italian Beef sandwich with tater tots. I’ve had BBQ ribs and baked mostaccoli which are great choices. Music from the 90s usually plays overhead, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots for example. After work it’s a good place to stop and unwind a bit

Not good, not bad, middle of the road. Had a Grand Slam Burger that was good but ordered the Blooming Onion Appetizer which was wretched. I was in the restroom when the server asked how it was and someone in my party explained it was not good. She was told “something wasn’t working” and it was made a different way than usual?????? Take my word and if you feel like ordering it don’t unless you feel like wasting $10.

When we first arrived there is a sign that says please wait to be seated. We waited about 10 minutes and no one came to see us so I grabbed two menus and two wrapped silverware and asked someone if we could just sit where we wanted. Finally a girl walked out and said we could sit wherever we wanted. We ordered the sampler platter that had onion rings, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, fried broccoli, and it said fried cauliflower, but we didn’t see any of that. It had two of each of those vegetables on the platter served with ranch. The breading was not fully cooked. Then we ordered a burger that had jalapenos, salsa and chipotle aioli. We decided to split it so it came cut in half and we ordered tater tots instead of french fries. Both of us tasted the burger and it was rancid. You could tell it was not cooked all the way, and the meat itself smelled. We set it aside to let the server know that we weren’t eating it. About 10 minutes later when the server came to check on us she asked us if we wanted a to go box. We said absolutely not and we showed her the burger and that we had each taken one bite. I spit my bite into a napkin, my fiance swallowed his bite. He has been sick to his stomach since then. They did end up only charging us for the sampler platter. This is the second time that we have gone here and we weren’t satisfied the first time. We thought maybe we would give it another try. We will not go back to this place ever again.

Benchwarmer’s makes the best stromboli without bread in the area. It always has enough sauce, a great flavor and a generous portion. Their onion rings are great, too.

First time customer with many more visits in the future. We had the veggie sampler and it was insanely delicious. The beer batter was fantastic and not overly greasy. My wife had a burger with Swiss, onions, mushrooms, and bacon and off of one bite I would order that myself. I had the grand slam and it was one of the better burgers I’ve eaten in my life. You can taste the family owned in the food.

Went to Benchwarmers for St. Patrick’s Day corned beef dinner. Dining room was laid out like a high school cafeteria. But on that point it was spot on neat and clean. Moving on to the server, she was personable and very punctual. Okay, here’s where the rave begins. Benchwarmers served the best corned beef I have ever had in my entire life! And I’m old. They serve me four slabs of the leanest corned beef I’ve ever had in my life. Slabs, in that they were cut a healthy three quarters of an inch thick and fork tender. No knife needed. Cooked perfectly. Not overdone, not underdone, baby bears porridge just right. Cabbage and carrots were done just perfectly. Mind you, now I’m extremely picky. So picky that I ordered a dinner to go for the next day. Good job Benchwarmers. You hit it out of the park. The only reason they didn’t get five stars is that I didn’t care for the cafeteria style seating.

Tried Benchwarmers for the first time this evening with my wife. The food was great and the service was impeccable. We were waited on by Trinity, she was a whole vibe. Trinity recommended the blue cheese dressing and it was FIRE!!! I would come back just for more of their blue cheese!

First time going here today we ordered the fried mushrooms, pizza and husband got mushroom burger with fries everything was very good! Can’t wait to come back to try more ..definitely going to be our new go to spot 🙂

Very watery and maybe 10 bites at most in this very small bowl for 12 bucks. Hardly any chicken. All I tasted was a strong Buffalo. It over powered everything. I love Buffalo but couldn’t eat this. All the fried apps were super greasy and mushy. My daughter’s chicken fingers were very tough and many tendens in them. She wouldn’t eat them. Fries were really good. My family members liked their boneless wings. Server was good but sat in a table next to ours with other workers and u could hear everything they were saying. I have worked in restaurants. Not very professional. Go in the back.

Went to Benchwarmer’s for lunch since I’d heard something else was in the location where Cici’s used to be. I thought the food was really good, the sports murals across the walls were awesome – I saw they had good ol’ Ron Kittle up there too. Service was great. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and a soda, my bill came to about $14. Definitely check this place out.

I love the servers who are always hustling and so accommodating. I’ve been there when it’s crazy busy or not so much of a rush and I always receive top notch service. I love that Benchwarmers is a family owned restaurant and not a chain. I recently took family from out of town there and they couldn’t stop talking about their wings & pretzel pizza.

We ordered lunch at the office and they accidentally left out a part of our order. I called and just asked them to put it back on the card. A few minutes later, a woman dropped off our item! That is great customer service. They are a favorite at the office!

My husband and I love the food that we get from here. The service from the girls is always great, and they are always so joyful to speak with. We generally eat there probably at least 2/4 times or more depending on our work schedules.

Order from this place bc I was told their pretzel pizza is really good. I did a take out order with the pizza, mozzerella sticks, & their garlic cheese bread. The mozzerella sticks were alright. You can’t go wrong with garlic cheese bread. The pizza? ITS OVER HALF CRUST. The tiny pizza part was actually good tasting. But the fact that they sold a pizza like this is just ridiculous. I should have checked it before I left since the place was 30 mins from home. The lady at the counter was nice and the place has a nice big spacious inside. Only recommendation I can make if you do order from here is to check your pizza before you leave. Especially if you want to order the pretzel pizza.

We were seated right away & our waitress came to get our drink order immediately. I had a Bloody Mary & asked for extra Olives. She did not skimp. I ordered chicken tenders with onion rings. First time and the food was very good, staff was friendly and fast. I posted this months ago, today I am pretty disappointed as it seems their fryer oil has not been changed out in a looong time. I love their food, my Dad and I are frequent customers but this time left a sour taste in my mouth…that is grease from trying to discreet it out . My hand was shiny and filled with grease.

Meh! We were in town for a softball tournament and decided to try this place out. Service was terrible. The food was ok. I probably would have given more stars if our server was good. My son loved their cheese sticks so we went back for take out. The girl working the register was awesome and so kind to my son when he ordered. However, I really hate when stores ask for a tip for the out.

Great! The rib special was perfect. Fall off the bone is exactly what I want in a rib and that’s how it’s served.
There was some big groups, and like everywhere these days they were slightly short staffed, but the staff here was outstanding, kept us updated and were professional in how they took care of us.

We had a really great waitress and the food was terrific! A little pricey for some things but COVID has drawn up the price of ingredients so understandable.

The quality of everything was great and when you ask for extra toppings they actually give you extra.

We will definitely be back again!

We had pizza , fried pickles , spinach dip, fried shrimp, and pizza.

I’ve been here a few times and their staff is great and the place is super clean. Also they have the best grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks ever. Highly recommend everyone try them out. Best grilled cheese I ever had hands down.

This was our first visit to Benchwarmers and OMG!! Our appetizer was their fried green tomatoes and mozzarella sticks both was large portions and SO GOOD! We was very impressed that their mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes was homemade so that made them that much better! I never had a burger with an egg so I decided to try their grand slam burger and it was amazing! My husband had their Stromboli and that was delicious (I had to have a bite because it looked so good lol) We had so much left we are able to have another meal later if we still aren’t to full. We will definitely be back!!

I was on the fence because of the negative reviews but the wife and I gave it a shot anyway. Glad we did ! Food and service was great. Had mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes. Both are homemade and really good. The portions a large. We also ordered the Grandslam Burger and a Stromboli. Those both very good and more the enough to fill your tummy. Looking forward to going back and trying some other options.

Just had there pizza here. Omg!!!!! Definitely the best in the area. I’m from chicago so I definitely know my pizza and here is definitely in my top 5 for sure. I have ate at Benchwarmers a number of times. The service has been great. The food has been excellent. I hope someday to try everything. My husband loves there hamburgers. I tried there pickle burger and it was delicious. Will definitely have that again. 👍🏻

Love this family run business! Great atmosphere, family dining & love their fresh wings, appetizers & sandwiches. Burger was 1/2 pound & way too much for one person!

Love the fried green tomato BLT sandwich. My dad is very picky about his pizza…He loved the pizza from here!!! Fries are different and definitely delicious!!! (BEST in town) Service was wonderful!!! Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend this family owned new restaurant!!!!

Great portions literally can never finish my meals and that says a lot for me. Friendly staff and food tastes great. I have seen some negative reviews but people need to understand how tough it is to find quality employees. The owners are great people and listen to their customers and are making some adjustments.

Tried this place on a whim, everything was amazing! Worth going to even if it’s just for the Bosco Sticks, but the wings and burgers are also 🔥.

The traditional wings are lightly breaded and properly cooked.

Do not skip the mozzarella stick appetizer as they are incredible.
